Graeme Angus

As the founder and owner of Sales Alchemy, Graeme Angus has a proven track record in sales management, leadership and performance.

Through Sales Alchemy’s partnerships with Miller Heiman (now part of Korn Ferry) and Culture Partners, he provides training, consulting and coaching services, helping his clients to realise significant improvement in individual, team and organisational performance.

Graeme has over 30 years experience in the IT and telecommunications industry. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Russian language and literature from the University of Glasgow in 1989. Following graduation, he began his career at Ernst & Young LLP, thereafter, moving into sales with British Telecom (BT). After five years at BT, he joined Mitel Semiconductors and then subsequently moved on to Cable & Wireless (C&W). During his time at C&W, he fulfilled various roles, including that of Global Account Director for the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Latterly he held the position of Director of Sales Enablement within C&W’s Commercial Development Group, where he implemented Miller Heiman methodology across the company’s Enterprise division. Following the acquisition of C&W by Vodafone, he decided to start his own sales consulting business - Sales Alchemy.

As his clients attest, Graeme first seeks to understand the business issues which they face in delivering against their short and long term revenue and growth goals. He then works with them to develop and execute plans to help them achieve their objectives, understanding that improving the sales effectiveness of an organisation requires training, mentoring, coaching and reinforcement, so new skills become embedded as part of best practice. Ultimately it is this approach which drives high levels of performance.

He has worked with clients spanning a wide range of industry sectors including Professional Services, Utilities, Telecoms/IT, Satellite Communications, Banking and Insurance, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Life Sciences & Engineering, where he has implemented programmes which have driven sustainable improvements in revenue/margin sales performance.

Graeme has extensive international experience, having worked with clients in North America, Eastern & Western Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, China, South Korea, Japan & South East Asia.
